The kids are off and School is out & the weather forecast for next week looks incredible so I have sourced some of the FREE, cheaper activities and days out in Rotherham, and the surrounding areas of South Yorkshire and popped them here for your convenience.
We LOVE Clifton park and I am delighted to tell you there is an Easter eggstravaganza and make your own magical eggs, Easter slime and Easter treasure hunt planned on the 16th. (This costs £3.50, contact the park for more info) With the Sun shinning, and a heap of stuff for the kids to to do, plus the park, rides and little train, this promises to be a busy and fun packed event in our biggest park. So plan in advance if coming by car.
All day board games at Rawmarsh, Rotherham Library each Thursday during the Easter holidays. Completely free, and hours of fun!

The tropical butterfly house at Anston, near Dinnington, Rotherham, on the way to Worksop always puts a great theme on during the holidays, and as an annual pass holder our family frequent here very regularly. They have a Madagascan theme all Easter and a Easter Egg trail to Hunt for Easter eggs on Easter Sunday and Monday.
If you are in the Steel City this Easter, Bank Holiday weekend. There is a FREE Egg hunt, with Eggs hidden in the shops and stores. Plus other Easter activities planned from the 18th -22nd April. You need to look out for info on Brearley Bears Easter Egg Hunt.
